  • The Police - ideally we won't need anything, but the Island Council could appoint some Rangers if necessary.
  • The Hospitals - 2 hours away by boat.
  • The Doctor - With some first aid training, people on the island should be able to take care of most sicknesses and minor injuries (inc. broken bones) until the person can get to the hospital. OPEN QUESTION - Is this good enough? (Book recommendation from a friend of Adam's: "Where there is no doctor")
  • The Medical Industry - N/A
  • The Pharmacy - N/A
  • The Sewage Plant - Initially using Arborial Toilets (Arborial Toilets), and then later more advanced forms of composting toilets. Feces makes great fertilizer.
PROTECTION FROM THE ELEMENTS
  • Your House - Tee pees, domes, tents, houseboats...
  • Your Clothes - Bring your own, buy them in town.
  • Your Tent (if you're a camper)
